Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
The Law Office of Matthew N. Grosswald, PLLC ("the firm," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.grosswaldlegal.com (the "website"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete our contact form, email us, call us, or schedule a consultation, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, the type of matter, and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our website and its hosting provider receive limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the website. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views; it does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation
- To check for conflicts of interest before discussing a potential representation
- To operate, maintain, and protect the website
- To comply with our legal and professional obligations
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
No attorney-client relationship
Contacting us through this website, by email, or by phone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until we have confirmed in writing that we represent you.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the firm and this website, such as our email provider, website host, form-processing service, and scheduling service, and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, or to protect our rights.
Scheduling and third-party services
Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated program, and form messages are delivered to us through Cloudflare's email service. Online scheduling is provided by Calendly. When you book a consultation, the information you enter is collected by Calendly and handled under Calendly's own privacy policy. Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services, such as Calendly, may set their own cookies when you use them. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law and professional rules.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided, subject to our legal and professional obligations, by contacting us at the email address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
